Synthetic Augmented Kinetic Exoskeletal Robotics, a company founded with a gimmick of turning appliances and small technology into fully functional androids. Later going on to provide specialist technology for alters.
History
S.A.K.E. had offices all over the world by the 121st Century, though their R&D center would be located in central Mailor following a surge of population from non-human/interdimensional refugees. Mainly developing S.A.K.E. robotic appliances and providing other magitech upgrades to ordinary technology.
In the early days of their career, the Hawkmoths were sponsored by S.A.K.E., though the team thankfully were not having to compromise their mission to much, partly thanks to their budding friendship with Ford, the chief engineer.
Alvis was given a modified S.A.K.E. exoskeleton in order to become a full member of the Hawkmoths.
It was around then that Ford and the other engineers began to fully devote efforts into creating technology, as they were experienced with working to modify small devices/appliances, in order to benefit Non-Humans, such as:
- Car seats and control consoles for non-plantigrade drivers.
- Phones and communication devices for irregular heads
- Console controllers for non-hands
- Ovens designed for better preparation of Hestonised Fruits
- Prosthesis for tails and other non-human limbs
During the war for the Future, S.A.K.E. had most of their government funding, but used the dregs of what they had in order to help arm and protect alters within Mailor.
