The Dragon Maid cafe in the center of Mailor as both a fun novelty for customers, with a rich Alter and Queer history- while secretly acting as a headquarters for an Alter Resistance Movement

History

The Maiden Menagerie was founded by Mistress Imelda, wanting a means of both supporting a budding civil rights movement, while also providing a means for some dragons to express their femininity.

Each staff member is given a bespoke dress uniform, with a unique brooch and colour of cravat.

Zeydaan stumbled onto the cafe while on their journey of self discovery, and spending a time working there as their Isabella side awakened, they were able to express themselves in a way they previously weren't able to.

Zeydaan and Isabella work semi-regularly at the cafe after the Hawkmoths became independent, and the cafe acting as a team meeting space during quieter evenings.
