South England Adventuring League
South England Adventuring League
The chief funders and Media conglomerate that helped to get the Hawkmoths their funding and media presence.
History
Post the age of adventure, when Adventuring Teams were seen as less of a necessity and means of exploring the world, and instead a means of maintaining the peace and exploring other worlds- several organisations were set up to not only provide funding for far more smaller independent teams, but to give them a positive media presence as government agents.
The South England Adventuring League was established as one of the first organisations, thanks to a generous government grant and organisations such as the Jem Foundation.
The teams they went on to fund include groups like the Avatars of Light, and even the Hawkmoths. Not just helping the teams with equipment, bases, but eventually merchandise, TV and Film tie-ins and even video games.
However, its founding and leadership was deeply rooted in humanosupremacism, rarely signing on teams with alters as members. And for those that did manage to be signed, they would be under far greater scrutiny and oversight, including the Hawkmoths.
The Hawkmoths would separate from the league after such issues and restrictions of missions became too much for them to ignore. (This was most of the way into the production of the first Hawkmoths Film).
The league, and the teams remaining assigned to them would take on a far more antagonistic role to the Hawkmoths and allies, acting as the media and direct force of the government against the team and the city of Mailor.
