Dealing with Inklings would come with some risks, if not properly handled, the tiniest drop of Ink could fall on you.
Inklings are incredibly sociable and wanting more to join their teams, too. Noticing a fledgeling transformation would very much want them to coax along the changes. Being friendly to help teach her to speak their language when the ink has her grow out a beak.
She would want to hang around with her new fresh friends as the ink would cover more of her. What's one turf war with friends gonna do wrong?
